Description
Oscar, the ambassador of a future race of aqua-sapiens has traveled three million years into the past, back to our time to find and thank the catalysts of a divergent human evolution that will result in his people. Â The catalysts are two genetically-engineered men, Bisso (81550) & Geaza (63424) sent from an alternate future society who feel they have reached the end of their evolutionary line. Bisso and Geaza are designed to excrete a chemical that will cause a mutation in humans, to give humanity a second chance at evolution. Â But as Oscar begins to revert from a humanoid disguise back to his natural fish-like state, Bisso and Geaza begin to question the wisdom of their mission. The only way to abort the violent mutation in future generations is to terminate their mission, and themselves now!
This, the second and final Changers book starts off with the series’ most violent moment, which sets the tone for the rest of the book. Â Changers two is much darker and more dangerous. The tension between Bisso and Geaza is high as their values and feelings about Oscar and the mission diverge. Like any great science fiction story, readers are left with more questions than answers about humanity, and what greater responsibilities individuals have toward society.
