Description
When I was little, scary movies marketed to kids made a significant positive impact on my tiny brain. Young Cara Bean and her siblings (and apparently children across the country) had a different reaction, and found a movie like Gremlins terrifying. This comic is an account of an unsuspecting father and a pack of young kids trying to beat the rainy day blues by going out to a movie. What follows is the slow realization that Gremlins is not necessarily a movie for little kids. Â The narrative culminates in an imagined gremlin attack that makes me laugh every time I read it.
This minicomic is a fun short read, just don’t feed it after midnight.
