Description
Stray Lines No. 3 collects seven comics from independent cartoonists in Ireland. In this lean anthology, cartoonists tell stories that revolve around themes of death, magic, consciousness, and family. The narratives within this issue vary from a story of a cosmic robot’s AI development, to the struggles of a local rugby team, to what ghosts dress up as on halloween.
Stray Lines shows a great breadth of styles that exist within the Irish comics scene. An interview with cartoonist Sarah Bowie speaks to the community that has grown in the country.
