Description

Sarah Becan and her partner Niles took a vacation to Stockholm, Sweden! We are lucky enough that Sarah likes to document the more exciting food she eats on her webcomic I Think You’re Sauceome. So the focus of this travelogue is not a list of historic buildings, beautiful vistas or stories of jet-lag (though they are included). The stars of Stockholm is Sauceome are Sarah and Niles’ dinners, snacks, pastries, early breakfasts, mid-day coffees, and late night-drinks!

When you travel, you try to soak as much of your surroundings in as possible, but you are never able to retain the buildings you pass, and so Sarah’s drawings of Stockholm are colorful, deceptively simple and fleeting. Where her pen lingers is on the dishes and drinks she and Niles enjoy, masterful drawings of sausages, fish, Fika, meatballs, lingonberries, and dumplings will make your mouth water!
