Description

D De Maglie’s Revolutionary Femmes is a collection of short bio comics of four femme activists made for Women’s History Month. Yuri Kochiyama, Pauline Newman, Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson were all influential in the struggles for civil rights in their time.

This mini comic is meant to spark interest in these influential organizers and their stories, highlighting significant moments in their own lives as well as the gay liberation movement, the Asian American and Black Power movements and turn of the century American labor organizing.
