Description
In the second of three issues of Kingdom/Order, our nameless protagonist is lost in the woods, and he starts to learn the call of the wild and the language of the woods. As he learns, what we know as reality begins to become more maleable, and he himself is becoming something less human.
In the first issue of Kingdom/Order, Reid Psaltis spent a lot of time getting us to the woods, and in this one, he works to get the woods into us. The many symbols representing the animals’ voices are becoming more and more like a written language that the protagonist can decypher and manipulate. Each image Reid has drawn is striking, and its clear he’s having a lot of fun during the comic’s weirder moments. Where the third and final issue will take us is still a mystery, and so we’re left excited to see what will come next!
