Description
Mostly drawn in December 2015 and January 2016, this issue’s comics all linger on memories and feelings of the fall and winter. The cold seeps in through each page as John works on comics, notices seasonal changes in the local wildlife, and chases his cat in his underwear in 40° weather!
King-Cat has always felt like a personal letter from John Porcellino to each person who picks up a copy. John opens up his life, and reveals quiet moments from days gone past. In issue 76, John flips the script a little, and dedicates a third of this issue to the letters section, “Cat Calls.” Friends and strangers write to John to talk about their own woodchuck sightings, their own hikes in nature, and their own work-a-day lives, and the loving memories of their cats.
Spend an hour in the cold of Midwestern winters with King-Cat No. 76!
