It’s Performance, Archie is a self-described Riverdale “fanzine” / confessional (of sorts) by remus jackson. Jughead gets philosophical about performance and authenticity. What is true, and what do we want others (and ourselves) to believe?

This issue gets meta pretty quickly as Jughead talks about himself performing a version of himself, that’s being performed by the comic’s author (which could mean either official Archie writers or remus (which they’ve kind of already spelled out on the cover of the zine)! Whoever Jughead or remus really is, they’ve delivered another funny and thoughtful critical essay disguised as an Archie comic!
