Description
Edie Fake’s Foie Gras is one part comic, one part poem, one part weirdo recipe zine.
Edie redraws and alters drawings from the Joy of Cooking, and presents them as a poem about sex and gender identity.  Cooking movements mimic sexual acts like fisting, phallic objects are altered and cut, holes are created and plugged. Then magical flourishes explode out of orifices!
It’s a great little zine open to a lot of interpretation, which is convenient, because you’ll find yourself picking it up, reading it, and then turning it back to page one often!
