Natalia Lopes (she/they) is a queer Latinx illustrator making queer horror art, comics, and zines. Her retro line work, alluring and horrific subjects all pay a loving nod to horror, anime, and science fiction. She has been crowdfunding her comics since 2019, starting with a horror anthology called Paroxysm, which has provided a vehicle to showcase works by independent and marginalized creators alongside her own.
When she is not working on freelance projects and running her micropress MystoPress, she is teaching classes to teens and adults in non-profit art centers around North Carolina.
