King Ray is an Ignatz-nominated cartoonist and writer living in White River Junction, VT. Their work addresses identity and modern anxieties, often within horror or poetry comics. Some of their work includes Phonestoned, for which they got their Ignatz nomination, the MICE mini-grant awardee The House Was Vile, and My Beast, My Friend.
