Kelly Wang (born 2000, Dallas, TX), is a Taiwanese American artist and musician who currently studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with a focus on comics and print media.
She moved to Taipei, Taiwan in 2010, experiencing part of her childhood within a new culture and context. Wang developed an interest in comics and manga (graphic novels) at this time. Wang creates using traditional art techniques that combine both Asian and American comic styles to explore personal, cultural narratives and philosophical themes within her storytelling.
